Assistant Facility Manager (MOD)
Description: Seeking Part-time to Full-Time position that is responsible for but not limited to in assisting Sportsplex management in day-to-day operations, overseeing daily Sportsplex sports programming and activities, event management and facility management. Position will primarily manage/monitor the following while on shift: Sports Programs, Rentals, Special Events, Point of Sale, Arcade Area, Safety and Cleanliness of the Facility, Customer Service and Sports Services Staff on Shift, and Daily Schedule of Activities with the possibility of program and/or league management.
Preferred Qualifications: Programming and facility management background, knowledge in sports management or business administration a plus. Current CPR and First Aid Certifications. Self-motivated candidates should have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to assume a variety of independent shift responsibilities. Must be able to work late nights and weekends. Degree in athletics, recreation and facility management or related field preferred.
Hourly Pay or Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Party Host Positions
Description: Part-time position assumes a variety of tasks and responsibilities including but not limited to: organizing sport on playing surface, serving food and beverages in the birthday/team party room, organizing the party group moving to and from party areas, organizing any necessary set-up before the party begins, and cleaning up after the party is over. Typical party duration 2+ hours.
Preferred Qualifications: Must be 16 years of age (or 15 years of age with working permit) and able to work weekends and/or weeknights. Position hours are flexible and staff will be called each week with available party times. Outgoing personality and sports background preferred.
Wage: $20 per party + tips

Program and Recreation Management
Internships offered at Sportsplex supply practical experience in the sports management field with emphasis on total facility management. Individuals can base their experience upon their future career paths and interests. Experienced gained can be applied to completion of a college degree or used to gain additional exposure in the sports management field. Application deadline until August 31st, 2009.
Pay: Position is generally an unpaid learning experience for the internship. However, depending on the background and qualifications of the intern they may seek additional working experiences to earn an hourly wage based on experience. (i.e. Head Camp Consular with an hourly wage. A shadowed learning internship experience would be unpaid.
